2000-W Proof Gold Eagle 1/10 oz Red Book, NGC PF 70

This exceptional 2000-W Proof Gold Eagle represents the finest quality available for this popular fractional gold issue. Struck at the West Point Mint, this one-tenth ounce proof eagle has been certified by NGC at the perfect grade of PF 70, indicating virtually flawless surfaces with only the most trivial imperfections visible under magnification. The Red Book designation confirms this coin's significance within the collecting community as a key reference example.

The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle series has long been favored by both investors and collectors for its accessible size and purity. The 2000 proof issue, particularly in this gem condition, represents an outstanding example of U.S. Mint craftsmanship from the early 2000s. The obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens' iconic Liberty design, while the reverse displays the heraldic eagle, both rendered with exceptional clarity and detail in this proof format.

Achieving a perfect PF 70 grade is extraordinarily rare for any coin, making this certified example a noteworthy addition to any serious Gold Eagle collection. The NGC certification (Certificate #99950) provides full authentication and grading verification. An outstanding opportunity for the discerning collector seeking a premium example of this modern classic.
